Staying Power

In the State of the Union Speech last night, Bush intoned

Our war against terror is a contest of will in which perseverance is power

He went on to assure the world of American's staying power. His determination recalled for me his September 20, 2001 speech to Congress in which he promised,

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail

He must have been reading my blog You gotta have heart which appeared last week.

Bush is the right man with the right stuff.
